Diaper commercials that advertise their product like they're talking directly to the baby that's going to be wearing them.

While I'm on the subject of annoying advertising techniques.

Products that try to perpetrate like their name brand is a completely different product than other name brands that do the same thing.

For example, Dove commercials that tells you that they moisturize your skin "better than soap" or that Dove doesn't leave an invisible layer of soap scum on you "like soap".

Dove is soap, dumbasses. Why not just say "better than the competition" or "better than the other guys"?

I don't like that commercial...I think it's for Best Buy..where the girl has her group of "bargain finders" or some crap. It's like a Sherlock Holmes-esque guy, a hound, private eye, etc.

I don't know why, but it just irks me.

Add to that: Anyone who thinks Willy Tavares is good period.

Don't disrespect Willy Taveras. He was a one-man wrecking crew in fantasy baseball last year with his 70 stolen bases.

The surprising part was that he got on base 70 times in order to get those 70 steals.

But I wouldn't be totally shocked if he got on base only 35 times and stole both 2nd and 3rd every time.

what grinds my gears is after the interview when they don't call you to just say "thanks but no thanks", thats all i want if they don't want to hire me at least then I'm not staying home by the phone instead of looking else where

the best part is that they act all surprised/annoyed when you call them if they don't let you know when they said they'd let you know one way or the other.
