I don't like the fact that 50 is starting all this crap with other rappers. He's sold all these records, he doesn't need to make diss tracks. It's just stupid. Hip hop doesn't need that. We all know what happened with Tupac and Biggie.
50 Cent - The Massacre... overrated IMO. I just dont think its as good as its hype.
I would buy 112 Pleasure and Pain before 50....wait i did.
"I'm gonna give credit where credit is due on Massacre. #1 to Dre, Em, Elizondo, whoever else, for not disappointing with the beats. #2 to 50 for recognizing that he doesn't need lyrics to sell his albums out here anymore. Anything with G-Unit or Shady attached to it, is gonna sell, if for no other reason, than it's 'whats hot', and to be with that, you gotta bump 50 and Em. Now, I'm not gonna say I'm surprised at how bad lyrically it was... because truth be told, 50's first album was nothing too special in the way of lyrics... though he did have his moments in a few songs. But the flow... where did his flow go? Did he just decide to throw it away completely? Damn... I never heard anything like it... the first album he had a solid flow, could keep me in songs even with mediocre lyrics... and now... now it's just gone.
But hey... at least the CD was aptly named. Truly was a Massacre."

I think the whole 50 cent vs. The Game thing was dumb.
However I will listen to some of this CD because it might be ok.
50 is using other "beefs" with rappers to sell CD's and thats jacked up to say the least. Given the fact i dont have EITHER 50 or EM right now and im proud of it.
Gimmick beefs are lame.
Everything about 50 is fake. I hate him so much. People see 50 on MTV rapping about mindless bullshit, and they think that is what all rap is like. The Game and Jadakiss are all on Interscope, yeah, you know that one was pre-arranged. GRODT was pretty good, but Massacre is just trash. 50 said that he made more than 80 tracks. I would hate to hear the ones that didn't make the cut. He was never a great lyricist, but on this one, he just stopped trying. Interscope/Aftermath won't even re-sign his contract when it expires in a few years, from what I've read. In two to three years from now, 50 Cent will fade into oblivion with next to zero significance on the industry. Smell ya later Fiddy, don't let the door kick your ass on the way out.
Don't get me wrong, though. I am not a mainstream/Aftermath hater. I like most of what they put out, in fact. I just want some good music, I don't think that is too much to ask for. After Encore and Massacre, Detox better blow my mother****ing brain away to make up for those two flops.
