Nothing better than lauching fireworks!
I'm gonna celebrate by watching the Red Sox get their revenge against the Devil Rays. Other than that, I'm not doing anything today, July 4th is always just a normal day for me with nothing going on... I did go to see X-Men 3, but that was yesterday.

I've already been to one BBQ. Now pretty soon I have to go to my uncles for dinner, his fireworks, and then a park firework show. That's all a bit overkill for my tastes, but some would love that I imagine.
Hopefully, everyone comes home with a good meal in them and all fingers intact.

I know we have Memorial Day to remember the fallen soldiers, but don't forget about those same soldiers today. Picnics and BBQs are great. Watching fireworks is fun. Getting pissed-up drunk can be a good time. Just remember the reason you enjoy the freedoms that you do and never forget the fallen who have given their all to ensure the freedoms you do enjoy. Without them, there wouldn't have been an America in the first place and those who have stood and fought over the years who have protected these freedoms and defended this great nation!

Happy 4th of July. Their are only 2 good things about this weekend. The first, my parent came up to visit for 2 days. The second is that I was off for 4 days. Tomorrow I have to go back to work and I just don't want to. I really don't get paid enough.

Unfortunately, I'm working tonight, so the only thing I'm drinking is lemonade and water.
I work tomorrow, I don't drink when I have work the next day.
The only exceptions to that rule are my birthday and Superbowl Sunday.

So I spent for this 4th of July right around $50 in fireworks. I should've bought a package that came with 48 different fireworks that were illegal, but I didn't feel like traveling to Missouri to get the best ones so I stayed in town.
