About to get daylight in Rome, I'm sure we'll be seeing tons of people heading down there soon. Been watching since about 1 PM. They even had a report around 2 PM reporting the pope had died. The report was a misunderstanding, for the pope's heart and brain were still working. Only a matter of hours....
Stealing this from a news story

The Vatican lists St. Peter, the first pope, as serving from A.D. 30 to 64 or 67 — a total of either 34 or 37 years. Second on the longevity list is Pius IX, who served 31 years, seven months and 17 days until July 20, 1903.

It's about 6 AM in Rome, the Sun should be up soon. You're right, and you had to figure it was only a matter of time. I'm an admirer of Pope John Paul II's work.

Hah, that's a sweet deal Husker. Our school has an exemption for Seniors if they have an A (not sure if A- qualifies, if so, that's a 91, if not, it's a 93).

I wouldn't skip school if I got that.

Pope has done a great job. He's lived a great life, and he'll be sorely missed. I'm eager to see this new pope and what he will do.

    Or get sick.

I was suppose to work my city's elections next Tuesday and May 3rd which falls on a Tuesday and I would have to miss those days of class. Money or No finals, money or no finals. Tough decisions.

i saw in the other thread that posts in here doesn't count against your post total anymore.

    Just testing!
    Nobody lookin out for nobody
Maybe we should try and help somebody or be somebody
Instead of being somebody that makes the news
So everybody can tweet about it
And then they start to R.I.P. about it
And four weeks later nobody even speaks about it.

    Yea that was sig worthy.

I so kinda smashed my friends windshield more then it already was with a basketball. Didn't realize a basketball could do that to windshields. I think I might have to give him some money now .

Thread renamed and moved since people actually have to type a sentence for it I don't really consider it a game.

Anyway, just watched last week's Arrested Development... what a great episode. Wasn't the doctor on the episode the guy who does Homer Simpson's voice?

Not sure. That episode was great. Especially the terrorist training part.

Yep. I love the fact that they keep using that same tape over and over (first Gob with the campaign video then George Sr. with his video to his company.)

    post padding counts again!

I went bowling again tonight.. I SUCKED!

I think I got it figured out though... funny because when we got there, I warmed up, and threw three strikes in a row.. just my luck that I get a warm-up turkey, and stunk the rest of the night.
