Three year or ten year? That's quite a leap! Arbitration would be they way to go at least for one more year but they should try and resign him during next years's season so they don't burn any bridges.

I think they learned their lesson with Payrod. For some reason Rolen and Pujols' ten year deals don't scare me as much but Rolen is starting to.
