    Rangers Hamilton out 6-8 weeks

Josh Hamilton will miss 6-8 weeks with a non-displaced fracture of humerus bone in his right shoulder.
Bad, bad news for one of the game's most talented players. We figured Hamilton would miss time at some point during the season, but this injury could wipe almost two whole months off the calendar. It will be a month before he even swings a bat. Chris Davis will take his place on the active roster while David Murphy will draw most of the starts in left field.
More touch luck for Hamilton who never seems to ever stay healthy. Difference between him and Furcal is he isn't thinking of retirement. Murphy can never fill Hamilton's shoes but Murphy can do a decent job for a couple of months. He's got some pop and can steal a base from time to time. The Rangers have gotten off to a great start and actually see them to continue doing so.

Was it really necessary to send him in that situation?

He blamed the 3rd base coach today to something of that effect.

It was both their fault. Stupid play as Josh said himself.
