Rangers Mark Prior Gets Another Chance

The Rangers and Mark Prior have reportedly come to terms on a minor league deal.
Prior isn't expected to join the Rangers this month, and we're not sure whether the deal includes any provisions for 2011. Perhaps Prior wanted to pitch under a major league team's supervision in the fall instructional league. Prior had allowed one unearned run over 11 innings for the Orange County Flyers of the Golden Baseball League. He gave up five hits, walked five and struck out 22.

Re: Mark Prior Gets Another Chance

Well, I have a good memory of his first spring training in AZ with the Cubs in 2002. I saw them play at the Brewers park in Maryvale. His whole family was there and I was sitting behind them. He pitched well and even got a couple of hits, we were all going crazy rooting for him. Wish him the best.
