    Rangers Blalock Will Be Back

    Rangers GM Jon Daniels indicated that Hank Blalock's $6.2 million option for 2009 would likely be picked up after the World Series.
    What position Blalock will play next year is still a mystery. It's possible that Blalock will be penciled in at first, with Chris Davis playing third.
    Blalock did well last year when he was healthy and that wasn't a lot of the time. He only played in 65 games and hit .287/.338/.508 with 12 HRs and 38 RBI. He's not breaking the bank but Mr. Glass needs to find a way to be healthy.

    The Rangers are solid up the middle and if Davis can play 3B, Blalock could do well at 1st.

    Blalock splitting time at DH and first will do the team some good.
