I'm gonna go on record saying this guy is one of the most underrated players in baseball. First off he is 15 for 15 on steals this year and 49 for 55 in his career. His .294/.350/.452 statline is pretty impressive for a second baseman. Kinsler also has 7 HR and 32 RBI in 221 AB and has scored 45 runs. I can see Kinsler as a real five-tool player. He can hit for average, has 25 to 30 homer potential, and clearly has not only speed but great baserunning instincts. Plenty of guys have speed but don't use it correctly. When you look at Kinsler's stolen base success rate it's pretty obvious he knows when to run and how to read pitchers well in just his third year. He's only 26 and I see him as a future stud second baseman. Great job by Texas to lock him up for 5 years. Thoughts on Kinsler's performance?
