Rangers Rangers' McCarthy leaves with sore forearm

Brandon McCarthy was limited to one inning in his start Friday after his sore forearm flared up on him.
McCarthy said he felt pain in the area after throwing a curveball. As many arm problems as he's had over the last year, it'd be no surprise to see him face major surgery at some point. At the very least, his status for his first regular-season start is now in serious jeopardy. Robinson Tejeda, Jamey Wright and Luis Mendoza would be some of the possibilities to fill in for him. The Rangers could also consider signing a veteran. Mar. 7 - 5:33 pm et

This is how Joe Mays' and Liriano's elbow problems started. Not good at all.
Hope rest takes care of the problem this time and he can go without the surgery.

Nice start from Danks today. We traded Danks for this guy who was already at the MLB level because he was more "major league ready" than Danks. Who major league ready now?
