    Game 3 Recap
A homerun from Sammy Sosa, a great performance from Kevin Millwood, and the Rangers ran their winning streak up to 5 games with a 5-1 win over the White Sox.

The White Sox scored their only run of the game on a 2-out, 1st inning, Jim Thome homerun. Sosa tied up the game with his 18th homerun in the 2nd inning, then Texas broke out for 3 runs in the 3rd to take a permanent 4-1 lead. They added 1 more run in the 5th to make a 5-1 game, and went on to win by that score. All 5 runs came off of former Ranger farm-hand John Danks.

Gerald Laird also pitched in for Texas going 2 for 4 with a double and 2 runs scored.
