Re: 110 years in the making!!!

I just logged on and saw that on the Rangers site. Unbelievable! Now that would be one to get on the DVR.

The boxscore isn't up yet, can't wait to see that, but apparently Marlon Byrd and Travis Metcalf hit grand slams, and Saltamacchia and Vazquez each had multi-homer games.

According to the Rangers site, the only team that has scored more in a game were the Cubs with 36 runs back in 1897!

It'll be interesting to see what they can do in the 2nd game.

Salty and Vazquez had 7 RBI's apiece. It is the first time that 4 players have had 4+ RBI's in one game in I forget how many years, but it was a lot!!

It is because I accidentally hit the Brewers icon after typing the new thread and hit enter before I realized what I had done. OOOOPPPS!! My Bad!!

I am just so use to hitting the Brewers icon after each post or starting a new thread. It comes from being a creature of habit I guess.

    Pathetic for the Orioles.......

-First time in 110 years that a baseball team has scored thirty or more runs.

-Ninth time in baseball history this has happened.

    -set an American League record

-Texas set a team record for runs scored in a double-header, just in one game.

Another sad thing.......the Orioles were up three heading into the fourth.

I would have to say that would be more embarrassing to see that happen if it was my favorite team.

I thought losing 18-9 was bad, if this were to happen to the Yankees I would honestly cry myself to sleep.

"Boy, that escalated quickly.. I mean, that really got out of hand fast."

And Baltimore even jumped to a 3-0 lead.

Ya they jumped out to that lead but take out that hyphen in 3-0 and then you will get the right score.

The Baltimore Ravens haven't given up 30 in a game since week 12 of the 2005 season.

    Poor Orioles.
