    Angels @ Rangers (August 15th-16th)

    Projected Matchups
Game 1: Ervin Santana vs. Vicente Padilla
    7:05 PM Central on KDFI

Game 2: Joe Saunders vs. Adam Eaton
    7:05 PM Central on FSN-HD

    Game 1 Matchup Notes
Santana: He is day-to-day with a bruise on his left knee so there is a chance he may not start this game. Triple A pitchers Dustin Moseley or Kevin Gregg could get the start if Santana is not able to pitch.

Padilla: He has pitched extremely well over his last 2 starts against AL West opponents. In his last 2 starts he has won both and allowed just 3 runs in 14 innings while walking only 1 and striking out 11. In his last start against the Angels on August 4th he allowed 3 runs in 7 innings and struck 5 for the win.

    Game 2 Matchup Notes
Saunders: He is off to a great start this year winning all 4 of his starts with a stellar 1.67 ERA. In his first career start against the Rangers he allowed just 3 hits over 7 scoreless innings.

Eaton: Adam's last start against the Angels did not go very well. He gave up a 3-run homerun in the first inning, then plunked the next hitter and was ejected after just 2/3 rds of an inning. In his last start, against the Mariners, he pitched very well allowing 2 runs on 4 hits over 6 innings for the win.

I know that feeling. The Braves at an off day last Thursday and I didn't know what to do. I feel asleep on the floor after playing a game of The Show.

Padilla had a bit of trouble in the first giving up a couple of hits, but he also struck out 2 batters and held them scoreless.
