Bauer walks Bloomquist. I know we are up by 6 but this is not looking good.

Greg Dobbs triples to score Bloomquist, again on a 2-strike count. The lead is now down to 5. Get Bauer outta there before he blows this thing!

Ichiro with a sac fly. The lead now down to 4. At least we finally have an out though.

Betancourt grounds out to second. One out away from sweep victory.

The Rangers finished off the 4-game series sweep over the Mariners with a 10-6 win in yesterday's game. Texas finished having outscored the Mariners 37-19 in the series.

Michael Young pitched in with 2 hits, including his league leading 41st double, and 2 runs batted in.

Carlos Lee finished 3 for 5 raising his Ranger batting average to .351. He also doubled and drove in 3 runs.

Rod Barajas reached base 3 times with his 17th double of the year and 2 walks. He also scored twice.

Kevin Millwood got off to a shaky start allowing 3 runs on 7 hits over the first 3 innings of the game, but finished with a respectable outing still allowing just the 3 runs on 8 hits an striking out 4 in 6 innings for his 11th win of the season.
