DeRosa is AL Player of the Week

Not very surprising considering the guy hit .433 with 2 doubles, 4 homeruns and 15 RBI with a .900 slugging percentage. Way to go DeRo.

he had a great week, and is having a very nice year too!!!!! I always thought he put too much pressure on himself...... He seems too be molding into a very nice steady player that can play multiple positions....

DeRosa had always played almost everywhere on the infield with the Braves. It wasn't till he got to Texas that he started seeing substantial outfield time. It's amazing that he's having such a great year while he is bounced around between almost every position imaginable. I just hope we are able to resign him beyond this season.

true.. i just was talking about the year the Braves tried to make him their everyday 3B. He struggled that year.. But always did a nice job for the Braves as an utility player

DeRo kind of reminds me of Melvin Mora of 2004. Jumped onto the map batting .340 with 27 homers while playing multiple infield and outfield positions. Not to say that DeRosa will put up the same power numbers, but he's having a very similar season at the plate and in the field.

old people music? I'm 26 dude...it's a combo of electronic, classical, and ambient music...very chill and experimental stuff. most of the songs don't have vocals...that particular song does though.
