I know. I just wanted to throw that out there to make me feel better about the offense.

DeRosa had a huge game. 4 for 5, 4 RBIS, 2 Doubles. Same with your boy Kinsler 3 for 3, 3 RBIS, 1 HR, 1 Double.

It's about time the Rangers offense finally broke out, and this losing streak was snapped. Everyone in the starting lineup contributed last night with either a hit, run, or RBI.

Young, Lee, Laird, Kinsler and DeRosa all had multi-hit games. Laird and Kinsler each had 3 hits and Young and DeRosa had 4 hits. Seven guys scored 2 or more runs topped by Ian Kinsler who scored 3. Kinsler also had 3 RBI and DeRosa drove in 4.

Koronka had a decent outing allowing 2 runs on 6 hits over 5 innings to lower his ERA below 5 and improve to 7-6 on the season. Rupe, Littleton, and Wasdin then combined for 4 scoreless innings.

Only problem is the A's won too and Texas remains 3 games back in the AL West.

Laird is on fire! And it looks like he will become an everyday players. As we are dangling Barajas around with the Giants, and Astros.

After watching that game last night it makes you wonder how we lost the previous two. Anyways really good relief from the young arms.

We ran into some tough pitching the first two games. I think the strikeouts played a bit a role in it. Texas batters struck out a combined 18 times over the first 2 games and only twice last night. The Royals bringing in Duckworth sure helped, and him walking 2 batters in the 4th intentionally.

Rupe looked really good in his first appearance this season. You have to love the young arms in the bullpen, definately could have a really nasty looking bullpen for years to come.
