    Rangers @ Whitesox (July 21st-July 23rd)

    Projected Matchups
Game 1: John Wasdin vs. Mark Beurhle
Game 2: John Koronka vs. Freddie Garcia
Game 3: Vicente Padilla vs. Jon Garland

    Game 1 Matchup Notes
Wasdin: This could be Wasdin's last start in the rotation until Adam Eaton comes back. John has not pitched well this month going 1-2 and posting a 5.87 ERA in 3 starts. His only other outing against the Whitesox this year was a relief appearance on June 3rd where he pitched 2.1 perfect innings.

Beurhle: He has been bombed lately allowing 22 earned runs on 30 hits over 14.1 innings in his 3 July starts. He has pitched very well against Texas though going 8-2 with an ERA of 3 in his career.

    Game 2 Matchup Notes
Koronka: John has not pitched well in July going 0-2 with a 7.56 ERA in 3 starts. He has struggled on the road as well this season going 3-2 with a 5.59 ERA. In his only start against the Sox this season on June 12th, he allowed 6 runs on 9 hits in 4.2 innings.

Garcia: The Rangers have had some success against Garcia as he is only 5-5 against Texas with a 4.83 ERA. He has been hit hard in July going 0-2 with a 7.50 ERA. This is Garcia's first start of the year against Texas.

    Game 3 Matchup Notes
Padilla: Vicente is the Rangers hottest pitcher going right now. Over his last 8 starts he has gone 5-1 with a stellar 2.78 ERA, but he is only 1-1 with a high 5.56 ERA in 2 starts against the Sox. He did pitch 8 scoreless innings in his last outing against them in Texas though.

Garland: The Rangers have hit Garland hard. He is only 3-6 with a whopping 6.14 against them in his career. In 2 starts against Texas this year he is 1-1 and has allowed 5 runs on 10 hits over 12 innings.

And with 2 outs even. Awesome! The Sox just scored again so it is now 5-2 Texas. Wasdin has not exactly pitched well but at least he's done better than Buerhle so far. The 3-run homerun by Young puts him at 61 RBI on the season. One behind team leader Blalock who has 62.

Young having a big game were really take it to them sox! Oakland lost tonight so that is great. Anyone like Wes Littleton yet? I know he gave up a solo shot tonight but hes been solid coming into this game.

Great game by Mench. Maybe we can trade him for an arm now!

Nice to Wilkerson and Mench finally doing something. A huge game for Mench, 3 for 4, 3 RBI and his first homerun in a whopping 30 games! Mahay pitched a couple of good innings for the win and Bauer pitched 2.1 scoreless for the save.

Littleton struggled a bit this time out but he looks like a pretty promising young pitcher. Just need to work on getting his walks down 4 in 6.1 innings so far.
