    Freddie Garcia pitcher very well but Mr. Clutch Michael Young came through with 2 outs in the 9th. I watched the game. Awesome hit by Young.

    There really isn't much to say about yesterday's finale against the Whitesox except that Padilla pitched a very solid game. He gave up 4 runs but only 1 of them was earned and he only allowed 3 hits and 1 walk while striking out 8. Kevin Mench went 2 for 3 marking his 4th straight multi-hit game and 6th in his last 7 games. Mench is 9 for his last 15 over the 4 games and 13 for his last 26 over his last 7 games.
