Matthews. Even though I knew about Kinsler, because I drafted him, it's still nice.

Kinsler is one of my favorite Rangers and first player I really followed through the minors, but that Gary Matthews catch was AMAZING. Maybe we'll end up with 3 gold glovers this year.

That would be awesome if Gary won a gold glove. He should win it based on that catch alone.

I know Teixeira will probably win another one but who is the 3rd, Young?

just curious, does Kinsler have enough ABs to qualify for the batting lead considering he was on the DL for a while?

No he doesn't. He only has 150 AB's this year. The batting leader Ichiro is getting close to 400.

Until I just checked the stats, I really thought Ian would have had more AB's by now.

I have no idea who is leading among rookies. I couldn't find that stat.

It's one of the poll options though

Ian Kinsler leading American League rookies in batting

Well, I got these poll options off the Texas Rangers website so I would assume he has enough AB's to qualify for the rookie lead.

Yeah Molina, I'd put the three gold glovers as Teixeira, Matthews and Young.

And Ian Kinsler does qualify in at bats for rookies. Just not for the league title.
