My vote goes to Mench. He starts off burning hot but has cooled off since.

Actually he started off cold as ice, then homered in 7 straight games, then went cold again, then he heated up a bit, now he is cold again. If the guy just wasn't such a streaky player he would be great.

This one is actually pretty tough for me. Barajas and Teixiera are both batting around .270, but with Teixiera's huge expectations he has performed very poorly. I will agree with your vote to eliminate Barajas however. He has 20 less RBI's then Teixiera.

Barajas just hit a 2-out, 2-run homerun in Texas' win last night.

    Anyway, I'll vote Mahay.

    Voting currently stands at:

    Ron Mahay-2
    Rod Barajas-2
    Kevin Mench-1

Due to lack of voting I will decide between Mahay and Barajas.

Round 9 Elimination: RP-Ron Mahay with 2 out of 5 votes (+tiebreaker vote)
