    Rangers Castro Traded

    Fabio Castro has now been traded. The Rangers will be shipping him off to Philadelphia in exchange for lefty pitcher Dan Haigwood. In 15 starts in this season Haigwood had gone 2-5 with a 3.54 ERA and had allowed just 72 hits while striking out 85 in 84 innings for the Phillies double A affiliate.

    Castro had allowed 5 runs on 6 hits and 7 walks in 8.1 innings this season for Texas.
