    Rangers Rangers Survivor: Round 1

It may look like I am ripping this off from some other guys here, but I'm not. I ran an MLB survivor and an all-time great survivor at another site a few years back and had thought about doing a Rangers one here before I noticed people were already doing them for their teams. We will be going by the Rangers current active roster minus Nick Masset since I don't think he will be with the big club long. Vote for whoever you like the least. Even if you are not a Rangers fan please vote anyway because there are not enough Rangers fans alone to make this work.

Corey may be new but he is one of the Rangers best relievers.

I'm going with Benoit. He is a good strikeout pitcher but walks quite a few and has been a real disappointment since 2001. The way the Rangers have gone through pitchers the last 5 years I am surprised the team has stuck with this guy so long.

Scott Feldman, cause the name reminds me of Corey Feldman.

Laird may be a backup right now, but he is the catcher of the future and having a pretty good year so far.

    Anyway, voting currently stands at:

    Joaquin Benoit-3 Votes
    Scott Feldman-1 Vote
    Brian Corey-1 Vote
    Francisco Cordero-1 Vote
    Rod Barajas-1 Vote
    Gerald Laird-1 Vote

8 votes was more than I was expecting. lol
Anyway, Joaquin Benoit is the first player eliminated with 37.5% of the votes.
