Rheinecker, Ojeda Up/Wilkerson to DL
Starting pitcher John Rheinecker has been recalled from Triple A Oklahoma along with catcher Miguel Ojeda.
Since being demoted to Triple A on August 1st, Rheinecker has gone 2-4 with a 1.66 ERA over 6 appearances including 1 shutout.
In 14 games for Oklahoma, Ojeda was batting .340 with 2 doubles, 6 walks, and 4 RBI in 47 AB's.
Brad Wilkerson has also been transferred to the 60-day DL. He underwent surgery on August 22nd to repair a partially torn rotator cuff.

Francisco Called Up
After not pitching in a major league game since his rookie year in 2004, reliever Frankie Francisco is getting a September callup to the big club. Francisco was on fire in Double A Frisco striking out 22 batters in 14.2 innings and posting an ERA of 1.84.
Ameriquest Field Ranked 5th by SI
Sports Illustrated has ranked the Rangers Ameriquest Field in Arlington the 5th best ballpark based on a fan value index. SI surveyed 8500 readers last year and published the results today.
Miller Park was ranked #1 right? Just kidding, but what was #1?
I really don't know. It was just posted on the Rangers site that Ameriquest was #5.

Stairs now a Tiger
The Rangers traded for Matt Stairs in preparation for their playoff run, but once they fell out of contention stairs lost his playing time to Nelson Cruz. He has just been claimed off waivers by the Detroit Tigers.
In his brief time in Texas, Stairs hit .210 with 3 homeruns and 11 RBI in 81 AB's as a Ranger.
I would like to see Joe Girardi replace Buck.
uuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmm... I think you better hope more on that. He will probably end up in Chicago with the Cubs... I would rather see him in Texas too... Anywhere but the Yankees or Cubs!
I wouldn't mind Girardi either, but I don't expect that will happen.
Early reports indicate that bench coach Don Wakamatsu is the leading candidate for the manager's job. He is the one who replaced Buck when he was hospitalized earlier in the season and when he was suspended for the Padilla beanball incident.
