    Mori Hurt

Shinji Mori suffered a dislocated right shoulder while pitching in a minor league game Monday. He'll undergo an MRI to determine the extent of the damage.
That's not the news we were expecting. If the MRI discovers a torn labrum, Mori will almost certainly be done for the season. If not, perhaps he'll make it back to help out in a late-inning role. It's hardly a common injury for a pitcher to dislocate his shoulder while throwing, and we imagine it signals that he already had some damage to his shoulder capsule.
When the hell are the Devil Rays going to catch a break? Kazmir can't find the plate lately and now this. Looks like Dan Miceli will be the Rays closer.

Wait, isn't Orvella still pitching? With how he pitched last year and his stuff, he should be closer.

There's no way my boy Jesus Colome is getting passed over.

    Nobody f*cks with The Jesus.

Orvella hasn't had a good spring unlike Miceli. Same with Colome.

Shouldn't they go with someone younger, instead of a guy they're likely to trade/waive/cut/force into retirement later in the season?

Why rush these guys? The Rays have been rushing guys since day one. Let them develop and wait until at least mid season if need be.

Dang, word is that Mori will be out for the entire season. Bummer, I was really high on this kid.

Orvella's not some 20 year old hot shot prospect, he has some seasoning under his belt. It's not going to hurt putting him there, where he really should be. Besides, they're the rays, they're not going anywhere. Why bother letting dinosaurs take up space?

Well for one, you have to earn it! Orvella was decent in the set up role last year. What's wrong with keeping him there and letting someone who is performing better close? Don't try and make the excuse for the teams that it doesn't matter just because they never win. Every player, manager and ****ing bat boy go out there to win!!!
