First step is getting a good GM and a good manager. I am excited to see if this team will spend now or keep dicking around.

Probably best news that the D-Rays organization has had in a long time. There are a great amount of talented spects to become GM for the D-Rays. One that comes to mind is Kim Ng, the assistant GM for the Dodgers. She'd be a great replacement of Lamar and I think she would be ready to take on full duties as GM for a young team that could use a new bright light. I think Kim Ng would be a great choice as GM for the D-Rays.
Good! New owner, new GM, new life perhaps?

I like how he didn't waste much time getting rid of LaMar. Hopefully he uses his brash edge to form a good team.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!

Do you mean good staff? Or are you implying that he's going to be a more hands on owner who will be like a Steinbrenner. I really don't know much about this new owner. Hopefully he creates a good staff that in return will create a much more competitive D-Ray team.

Why would they do that and interfere with DBacks taking him away from SD.
Plus, I think DRays may go with a younger GM, probably after seeing the whole Epstein thing work out for Boston.
