Rays traded INF Alexi Casilla to the Tigers for cash consideration, he was playing at Durham nd just had to walk over to the other clubhouse to suit up as they were playing the Mudhens.

Cody Anderson went 8 stellar innings, giving up just the one home run off Sizemore and a single by Longo, with no walks and two strike outs, for his first ML win.Anderson became the third pitcher to make his first two big league starts against Tampa Bay. Re: 2015 Tampa Bay Rays season

With all the potential perfect games and no hitters, I missed some roster moves from Tuesday.
The Rays designated Ronald Belisario and sent down Kirby Yates and called up Preston Guilmet and C.J. Riefenhauser.

Once again the Rays were out pitched.

Cleveland got it started gain in the second , Murphy singled, Santana walked, Moss doubled both of them to the plate, 2-0 Tribe.

In the third, three straight singles from Kipnis, Aviles and Brantley, Kipnis scored, Murhy hit a sacrifice fly to score Aviles, 4-0.

In the 4th, Urshela singled, Bourn singled, Wrshela went to third when Perez flied out. Kipnis hit into a fielder's choice, Urshela scored, 5-0.

Carrasco lost the perfect game when Butler walked in the 7th. The defensive play of the game dame when Longoria hit a sharp grounder that Santana dove for it, got up stepped on first and then threw to Aviles catching Butler in a rundown for the out to end the inning.

In the 8th, Riefenhauser now pitching for the Rays, Raburn pinch hitting for Murphy took a walk, Santana doubled, Moss homered , 8-0.

Bottom of the ninth, Carrasco still pitching for the Indians, he let up another walk to Cabrera, Guyer (ph for Krauss) was hit by a pitch , Sizemore (ph for Casali) gorunded into a fielder's choice, Guyer out at second, Cabrera to third. Kiermaier went down swinging, one strike away from a no-hitter, Butler knocks one in to right, no hit gone, Cabrera scored, shut out gone.

    Indians take game three, 8-1.

Carrasco went 8.3 superb innings, gave up the one run on one hit, two walks with 13 Ks with a career high 124 pitches.

Colome went seven innings, giving up five runs on eight hits, one walk and struck out three.

Brandon Moss with 5 RBI's, three with a homer in the 8th.

It has been 34 years since a Cleveland pitcher threw a no-hitter, last was Len Barker, who had a perfect game against Toronto on May 15, 1981. It ws the third straight game that the Indians took a perfect game into the at least the sixth inning.

Marc Krauss was optioned after the game.
