B.J. Upton still producing...too bad it's in AAA

B.J. Upton homered and tripled yesterday for Triple-A Durham.
He also stole a base after being hit by a pitch. Upton's average has remained steady for the last couple of months, but he is hitting for more power of late. Overall, he's at .296/.384/.471 with 34 steals in 41 attempts.

Is he really not ready to take another chance in Tampa? He has a good steal rate, he's almost at that pretty 300-400-500 line? They don't need him, that's for sure, but wouldn't having him up now to get some seasoning against MLB Pitching be good for him? Or is there something I'm missing?

I compare him with Chris Snelling in AAA. They are too good of hitters to be in AAA right now.

I have no idea why he isn't called up yet. I'd like to see him in some more games.

Yeah with His talent, I think he needs to move back up the the bigs, and get some playing time...

What are they going to do with Lugo then, albeit Upton should be playing already?

They haven't called him up because they want him to work on his defense. He's been pretty bad on the defensive end.
