Jesus Colome almost back; Aubrey Huff being displayed?

Jesus Colome had his second scoreless inning while rehabing for the Devil Rays' AA club. While he has not been that great this year, if he can get back to older form, he could help stabilize a pen that could lose Danys Baez in trade and is shaky outside of him.

Also, Aubrey Huff played his first game this year at third base a couple nights ago. I've noticed the Devil Rays are VERY tentative to make big trades at the deadline including potentially useful players like Huff or Baldelli (more Huff). This is pure speculation. But if a team is playing a typical 1B/OF at 3B, that signifies to me that they either needed him there for a night or they are showcasing him to teams as a third baseman to get more value for teams who don't want to pay a big price for a 3B like Randa, or in relief pitching, Bill Mueller.

Baez would be a good fit in Atlanta. Tampa could trade out of their league and likely get something decent in return for Baez from Atlanta. Atlanta needs some relief pitching pretty badly as well and Baez certainly isn't a bad pickup.

We need RP indeed. Huff wouldn't be bad though, he can play 1B, OF, or even 3B. I'd platoon him in RF with Francouer.

Considering what they asked from another in-division team for Baez (Hanley Ramirez, #10 prospect on BA's midseason report), maybe the Yankees don't want to pay that much.
