    Today’s match ups

    James Shields is 11-9 with a 2.80 ERA. Got his 8th CG of the season last Tues. shutting out the Royals.

    AJ Burnett. is 8-9 with a 4.60 ERA and took the loss on Tues. against the Angels. He allowed 4 runs on 7 hits and 3 walks while striking out 6 in six innings. Freddy Garcia has been scratched due to a cut on one of his fingers.

    The game today was PPD.....again...screw the assholes who throw stones at the dome. No make up date set, the Rays play up there again in Sept.

    With the early decision the Rays were able to move up their "themed" train trip from NYC to Boston. They sported 1950's style hats.

    I mentioned I hope they will........a snippet in the paper today quotes Friedman as expressing the Rays interest in resigning him, negotiations will take place after the season. Kotch has already stated he wants to stay.
