    Gomes’ Reds @ “Gloveless One’s” Rays 6/27-6/29

    Cueto VS Hellickson

    Leake VS Price

    Volquez VS Shields

The Rays are 0-6 against the Reds though they haven’t had a series since 2005.

Hellboy has been pitching well enough for more wins just not getting the outstanding run support he enjoyed in the first couple months. He is 2-3 with a 2.52 ERA in 5 starts at the Trop.

Cueto is 3-0 with a 0.96 ERA in 4 starts this month and hasn’t allowed more than 3 runs in any game so far this season.

The Reds will have Chapman in tow who had a perfect 9th inning to preserve a win against the O’s on Sat., just after coming off the DL, they lost the other two games of the series. The Rays are coming off a very good IL road trip taking a series from the Brewers and a sweep of the Astros.

I am attending the game on Tuesday, looking forward to the return of Jonny Gomes.

I'm listening to it on the radio, have they given a distance on the Gomes HR yet?

I didn't hear a distance, it hit the catwalk, so it dropped on the field right near the wall.
He hit the second longest ball though at the Trop above the Batter's Eye Restaurant in CF.
