The Rays got a much needed day off Thursday to soak those ankles, knees and elbows, but the Indians are coming with the War party. After the Boston massacre they will be looking for scalps. The Rays took a whooping in two games from the Tigers, but the third game was PP’D, so I guess they kind of got an extra half day off. They only won two games on the 3 city road trip.


Tribe has the best record in the AL , the Rays are trying to take back the fort in the AL East.

The Indians get G. Sizemore back, the Rays have lost E. Johnson.

Price has lost his last 2 starts, Tomlin is 6-1 with a 2.41 ERA.

The Rays now hold the record for non-multi-error games to start a season at 49.

Today's game went the way of the Rays. Price and the bullpen shut out the Tribe. That is the 4th loss in a row now for the Tribe. Tomorrows game will also be tough facing a very hot James Shields.

I am amazed Price was able to get a career high 12 K’s with the inconsistent strike zone of Vanover. Tomlin only had the one bad inning, but the Rays got the two homers from CK and Super Sam.

Scary moment in the 7th when the shattered bat of Sizemore glanced off the top of Price’s head.


Rays fans will only get Avril for about an hour and a half, she’s just a rental. The 5uper Sam cape is for the kiddies, though don’t tell Joyce and Damon they looked pretty happy with theirs. I wouldn’t consider Lavigne “Disneyesque”.More milk & cookies types are coming The Wiggles and Miranda “iCarly” Cosgrove.

Liking the start of this 2nd game of the series so far for the Tribe. The bats seem like they have come alive, but they have had some really shitty base running problems. LaPorta hitting one out was nice.

Big Game gave up the 3 early runs, but kept them in it, rough 8th inning against a relentless team. Rays kept the chance alive, but the base running blunder blew that out the water. Series tied 1-1.
