    A-Bombed Rays @ Bombtista’s Blue Jays 5/18-5/19

    Probables

    Helllickson VS Litsch

    Davis VS Romero

Short series in Toronto, Rays just split with the Yanks. Jays had a 2 game series with the Tigers won the first game but the second was PPD.

Last time out the Rays were stymied by Bautista and good pitching.

I read today that Maddon is going to give Elliot Johnson more playing time. That's definitely some good news.

Yes, the job was Brignac's and he has just pissed it away both at the plate and in defense. He makes an awesome play one inning and then he boots it in the next and he's lost what little plate discipline he had.

EJ had a good night, 2 for 3 with 3 RBI's and this is what will keep him in the line up more.

What a sloppy game tonight, 5 errors for the Jays and then the Rays almost gave it back.

Someone must have been smoking something when planning this week's road trip. They have 2 in Toronto, then come back south for two in Miami, then go back up north for 3 in Detroit.

So another split, at least they aren't on a losing streak. Got to be thankful for the little things.

I'll take it. Going against "Satan" was gonna be tough in the first game no matter what way you swing it.

One reason I love our announcers....during the play Wed. in the Bot. of the 1st, Bautista shoots a hard fast ball past Longoria.......Dwayne Staats says...."boy,that almost took Longoria with it....you might wanna get the married men off the field when this guy's up there."
