    "Bat”ista’s Jays @ Cleated Longoria's Rays 5/3-5/5

Probables ( Maddon has concerns of too much rest between starts for Price and Shields due to yesterday and next Monday off so somewhere these could change.)

    Reyes VS Davis

    Morrow VS Hellickson

    Romero VS Niemann

Longo went 4 for 15 for the Biscuits 3 were solo homers.

Lopez is expected to be the player demoted.

Reyes starting position is on the line, Davis had an excellent outing in the snow at Target Field.

Rays lost 2 of 3 from the Angels, Jays lost 2 of 3 from the Yankees.

I am taking a break from a self inflicted news coma and heading to the Trop to gander at my favorite eye candy.

Yep, Longoria was activated and Lopez was DFA'd.

Yahoo, walk off 2 run homer for BJ!!!

Brandon Gomes pitched the 7th and retired all 3 batters and part of the 8th giving up a walk to Lind who then was caught stealing.and got out that inning quick also. Longo got his stick wet going 1 for 4.

An especially low crowd, but that could be due to the Lightning play-off, they won too, up in their series
    3-0.

The Rays will shuffle the rotation, Hellboy will be moved back, Price will go against Romero on Thursday.

    I’ll load my photos later.

The joke umpiring of West /Hernandez strikes again. Both managers and Upton tossed, bad calls inconsistent to downright phantom strike zone. BJ will likely get a hefty fine and suspension for losing his temper, bat, gloves and helmet.

Niemann left after 4 with back tightness, Longo looks good, made some nice plays doesn't appear to be feeling any pain.

Pitching change for today, Drabek in for Romero who has a strained oblique and Price has been moved up.

Yeah those calls against Upton in the 9th were terrible.
I fell bad for the poor guy.

There were a few crappy calls for the Jays too, that’s why Farrell went out to talk, calmly though as with a lead you don’t want to squawk too much . Even though he was sedate they rung him anyway. Upton did squawk earlier on a similar at bat where 2 of the called strikes were actually balls off the plate so when it happened again he just lost it. Not that I condone it because of the consequences but it’s understandable. I am not worried about him sitting though if they can hold it together without Evan they can certainly do it without BJ. Shame it had to come just a day after the walk off.

Just as I was relieved to see “Bat” out of the line up, Lind the beast takes over.

At least Price comes back from his last abysmal outing, 10 k’s, 4 hits and 1 run.

They take on the other birds next.
