Longorialess Rays @ Blue Jays 4/22-4/24

    Probables

    Hellickson VS Reyes

    Price VS Morrow

    Shields VS Romero

Rays took 6 of 8 on the home stand, while the Jays lost series to the Angels, Mariners and Red Sox but split a 2 game set with the Yankees. Aaron Hill is day to day after being taken out of Wed.’s game with a hamstring injury. Johnny Damon should be back in the line-up after being out for a bruised finger.

The Rays will pay tribute to the TB Lightning during their play-off run donning shirts on the trip to Toronto.

    Go Lightning!!

Oooh, Morrow vs. Price. Sounds pretty.

The J Rays will take this.
    Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
    Ted
: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
    Barney: Circle gets the square!

The usual hard fought game between the Rays and Jays, this time the Jays got the late game heroics. Poor Hellboy just keeps getting victimized by the squeezed strike zone and brain farts in the infield. Kid’s face never changes though, he’s pretty collected for such a young guy, not sure what the thing is though with pep talking himself into his hat between innings.

Hopefully, Damon can keep DH-ing until the finger heals. Fingers crossed that Nix wasn’t badly hurt, looked like SRod slid weird and clipped him in the shin.

Found a full shot of the team theme….just for the David pose….”priceless”.

Guess we’ll see if Morrow will be his old self, he almost no-hit us last year.

Sammy has been such fun, which the team and the fans needed to lessen the sting of the Manny debacle and losing Evan. In place of the Manny promotion that was scheduled for later this month kids will receive…..

Lucky for the Rays Morrow made an early exit., big 3 run homer for Zobrist. Price got to the 9th, but Jays were surging on a rally, so Farnsworth came in to close. Jays made a good effort but a little too late. Rays got lucky on a call at first, looked like Snider beat the throw. Rays win!

Apparently, Lopez got a time out today for lollygagging down to first during his last at bat last night.

Just like last night though the show was Fuld & BAT-ista, along with another webgem for Super Sammy.

Oh and the Lightning won, too!

Why are the Rays pitching to Bautista?

When Bautista homers, it is even necessary anymore to specify that it's to left field? The box scores could just say "J. Bautista homered" and leave out the "...to left" part.

I don't see why anyone pitches this guy inside. Make him beat you going opposite field.

A 9 inning shut out for Big Game James, back to back CGs. It was BALL-tista today as he got walked twice.
