Devil Rays @ White Sox 4/7-4/10

Yeah, not only are they losing but freezing, too.

    Starters

Price VS Jackson (already lost, one run, BJ only one hitting, same story)
    Shields VS Danks
    Davis VS Humber
    Niemann VS Floyd

Will they get more than one run? Will they ever lead in a game in the series? Will they get a win before heading to Boston? It’s anyone guess.

I am even in a dilemma over the Red Sox/ Yankees series, do I show solidarity against the Yankees and root for the Sawx or do I root for the Yankees because I would at least like the Rays to NOT be the only ones without a win. It has never been easy to be a Devil Rays fan.

TB Rays ..er Devil Rays 2011 season....so far.

So it's been that bad that we're going back to "Devil" Rays now?

I don't remember the Devil Rays ever starting out 0-6.

Rays now have the distinction of being the only team since 1900 to go 62 or 63 ( or something like that) innings without a lead to start a season passing the 1992 Tigers. Then proceeded to battle, Dan “The Man” finally shows up with a 3 run homer in the 9th to put them ahead 9-7, more runs then they have scored in a week.

We actually have a save opportunity!

Rays Win! Rays Win! Rays win!

Kotchman was called up, came in as a pinch hitter. The tentative plan is to use him more at 1B and DJ more in the DH spot.

Sam Fuld just made an amazing catch to end the inning with the bases loaded! Great catch!!

I think Joyce is about to lose his job, too bad they can't seem to bring him home when he works just as hard on the basepaths.

Gawd, we suck! At least Joe provided some entertainment today throwing out all the umpires.
