Rays Borowski expected to sign with the Devil Dogs

Joe Borowski is expected to sign with the Devil Rays today.
Borowski was designated for assignment by the Cubs on June 29 and becomes a free agent today. The Devil Rays are hoping he can eventually replace Danys Baez, if Baez is traded.

    low-risk/high-reward type move I think

Yup. I wouldn't mind seeing him go to the Braves, where he can also compete for the closer's job. Eh, too bad.

The DRays are the scavenger rats of baseball. They live off of primarily players other teams no longer want. I have no beef with the move, in fact for the DRays I think of it as to be a pretty good chance for them to take. What do they have to lose?
