    Yankees @ Rays 9/13-9/15

This is the series everyone is talking about, this is the big battle of the Empire and the Republic.

    Probables

    Sabathia VS Price

    Nova VS Garza

    Hughes VS Shields

Tonight’s match has two Cy Young contenders going head to head. Sabathia just came off one of his worst starts this season, he leads the AL in wins and is going for number 20. Price has won his last 2 games and is 2nd in the AL win column with 17. Yanks have only won 1 of their last 7 games so they’re probably a bit pissed. The Rays are coming off a series win in Toronto.

The Rays/Yanks are 6-5 in the season series.

Never heard of Nova. I guess even the Yankees are looking for stability at the fifth starter spot.

Afflac trivia…… 6 pitchers have won their 20th game against the Rays in a season, who is the only pitcher to fail at the attempt?
