I'll make it up to everyone by posting a blog praising AJ Burnett. Oh wait, he doesn't need jinxing to suck.
Hummmmmmm, suppose I could do an article on David Wright. Mets haven't had anything fun happen in a few weeks.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!

Do an article telling everyone how awful Burnett is. Get some reverse psychology goin' on. Ya feel me?

I don't even have them and it made me wince watching it!
Bad night all around for the Rays, 3 back to back homers, 13 innings, exes Wiggy and Lugo biting our butts.
I saw the replay on SC last night. I cringed, then laughed hysterically.

Don't let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.
"Four-time All-Star Carl Crawford was sore but relieved after a scary incident when he was struck in the groin by an errant pickoff throw and ended up in an ambulance and then a nearby hospital for extensive tests.
The result was an ominous-sounding "testicular contusion,'' but the prognosis encouraging, with the possibility he could play today, though more likely Friday in Cleveland.
"He's as good as can be expected; for all us males, we understand how difficult that can be,'' manager Joe Maddon said. "He was in a lot of pain, it was a very difficult moment for him.''
"It caught me square, it couldn't have hit (me) in a better spot,'' said Crawford, who doesn't wear a protective cup. "It just took the wind out of me.''
Crawford had reached base on a fielder's choice grounder after Ben Zobrist opened the game with a walk. Crawford was scrambling back to first, trying to get his left foot on the base, when Baltimore starter Jake Arrieta's throw sailed past the glove of 1B Ty Wigginton, an ex-Ray, and struck Crawford directly in the groin. Wigginton retrieved the ball and tagged out Crawford, who was off the base when he was on the ground."

Verlander was very intent on CC tonght on the basepaths and I noticed that CC seemed very deliberate to turn his back to the throws each time.
