Sean Rodriguez completes Kazmir deal.

Reported today that LAA will send infielder Sean Rodriguez to Tampa to complete the Scott Kazmir deal made a few days ago. He had 23 homeruns and 99 RBI in AAA. There remains question as to whether Rodriguez is another AAAA player in the mold of Dallas McPherson. But it is intriguing as he could one day give the Rays a power bat at 2B and keep Zobrist in the outfield, and..keep Pat Burrell a long ways away from the lineup.

Sean Rodriguez appears to make the team, but he lost eligibility for all infield spots in Yahoo leagues. He's now either an OF (if all outfielders go by OF) or Utility (if outfielders must either be LF, CF, or RF).

I really like Sean Rodriguez, he tore the cover off the ball in the spring and really adds some depth to the Rays who already were looking strong in the bats column.
