Kazmir Shows Up

Scott Kazmir recorded a victory after limiting the Red Sox to two runs -- one earned -- in seven innings of work on Sunday.
Kazmir looked excellent today, striking out 10 and walking one while throwing 73 of 111 pitches for strikes. He's acquitted himself nicely against the Yankees and Red Sox twice in his last three outings, giving up five earned runs in 17 2/3 innings of work. Kazmir will probably be happy to see the Athletics later this week.

Kazmir's ridiculous against the Sox. I don't know why he can't do it against everyone else, or conversely, why the Sox can't hit him.
