My pitching should be performing better...especially the $18.5 million dollar man. Great time to start sucking after 6 studly years.

I don't feel so bad now with my 26th ranked 6.91 ERA. A .291 batting average is only good for 15th in the league. Is it just me, or is the leauge skewed towards offense right now?

It is skewed towards offense. ERAs in both leagues are well over 5. And you can't use the excuse of my pitching staff when my team is hitting .286 and is 20th

There's not a lot of pitching floating around.

Yea, now Mission chooses to make some stud hitting/fielding 3Bs that I'll never have a chance to draft. Thanks.

Milwaukee's doing better than I thought they'd do to this point of the season.

    Not holding my breath, though

I actually spend in FA for once and the guy lays down on the job.

    Re: 2035 S3SL Random Ramblings

The Padres keep chugging along, 27-14 in the middle of May. Pretty sure this is my best start since I took them over. I still think its smoke and mirrors, and I haven't played the Rock-Me's yet. Suarez is still crushing it. Cienfuegos leads all of S3SL baseball with 25 HR's in 41 games in AA (@19 yrs old), and gained contact talent. I think I might have the leagues next super power prospect (2034 - 65 HR, 167 rbi over 2 levels).

    Batting AVG: .302 (1st)
    Homeruns: 61 (T-4th)
    Walks: 146 (21st)
    Stolen Bases: 73 (5th)
    Runs Scored: 273 (5th)

    Pitching ERA: 4.54 (5th)
    Opponents AVG: .266 (7th)
    HRs Allowed: 48 (T-13th)
    Walks Allowed: 163 (17th)
    Runs Allowed: 202 (6th)

    Re: 2035 S3SL Random Ramblings

It's really tough to be competitive with so little pitching in the league. Really struggling with the staff. People don't really want to part with SPs either. And with mediocre seasons, there is no chance to get a top SP spec through the draft.
