Saturday 8/16/2028: Alex Morabito ropes 3000th career hit
FLORIDA - Arizona's rightfielder Alex Morabito already had some highlights in his career, and today he added another one, getting his 3000th career hit. With no outs in the 4th inning, Alex drilled a single, causing a standing ovation from the crowd. In 16 years of big league action so far, Alex has compiled a batting average of .320, along with 537 homeruns and 1945 RBI. 'Baseball is a great game, and adding something to it's history is something I've always wanted. What a great day!' It's no secret that he will one day be in the Hall of Fame!

Let the man run for 500! Morabito deserves to be the first 500/500 guy in the league . BTW while were going at Milestones Morabito's Bash Brother Milo Kotter knocked #500 earlier in the month...
Had 500th career homerun on 8/7/2028, off Gil Davila (Cin)...

Good to see both ex-Twins legends still mashing.

I'd like to see Degroat make a run at 250 wins before he retires.

Slyder, surely you mean the 2nd 500/500 S3SL player right? Florida's Mr. Nathan Poovey with his 500 HR's and 700 SB's being the first of course.

My bad Mission, I forget/didnt see that Poovey was able to get to 500 HRs before he retired. I want Morabito to be the 2nd 500/500 guy in the league history .

    Alex Morabito's Theme

When I win the division I might let him run but I still have to do whats best for team. I can't let him run for 500 when its not the strength of the team. If i was out of it, yeah id run the hell out of him but hes a contributing player in the role he's in now.

For the first time since 2015...the Texas Rangers are playoff bound!

And with the best record in baseball, and on pace for the best in franchise history
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

93-56... chance for 100 wins... and already locked up the AL East....
The miracle season continues.... this team should have been in 3rd or 4th, and it's now in the playoffs..
    Batting AVG: .273 (17th)
    Homeruns: 217 (1st)
    Walks: 619 (5th)
    Stolen Bases: 186 (7th)
    Runs Scored: 895 (5th)

    Pitching ERA: 4.45 (7th)
    Opponents AVG: .266 (16th)
    HRs Allowed: 124 (8th)
    Walks Allowed: 509 (13th)
    Runs Allowed: 704 (5th)

Mooreman with a shot at a 40-40 season
Rookie fill in OF I received in an off season trade, Scott Wickersham, could end up with 55 SB's...
4 players with over 100RBI... 2 with more than 50SB... possibly could end up with 5 over 30 HR
I could have a RP with 17 wins, in Cornett... who could only do that once when he was a starter for many a season

    Walks Allowed: 403 (2nd)
    Runs Allowed: 639 (1st)

For the 1st time since 2008, the Arizona Diamondbacks will win the damn NL West. 5th straight season of 90+ wins. Still not too sure on who I will face in the 1st round. Vanvalkenberg has a strong chance for MVP. Juan Bonilla is now starting to hit homeruns with winning games down the stretch.

    BOX SCORES Arizona @ Colorado

    Re: 2028 S3SL Random Ramblings

Twins trying to make things interesting reaching 90 wins for the first time since 2020. I like how my team is playing. The question now becomes 100 wins or rest up and pray that OOTP doesnt do anything stupid like it tends to do. 3 spots in any sort of playoff rotation are set in stone, Dexter has a chance to lockdown the 4th.

    Batting AVG: .299 (1st)
    Homeruns: 119 (28th)
    Walks: 568 (9th)
    Stolen Bases: 156 (T-11th)
    Runs Scored: 874 (6th)

    Pitching ERA: 4.51 (11th)
    Opponents AVG: .246 (3rd)
    HRs Allowed: 121 (6th)
    Walks Allowed: 464 (6th)
    Runs Allowed: 714 (6th)

I should look and see how much my era has come down since Mike McC came in and demanded the setup role.

    Re: 2028 S3SL Random Ramblings

Time for the playoffs. Got to rest a few key pieces and kept a few others kicking butt and taking names. I'll probably go ahead and get my playoffs changes in so I dont have to worry about them.

    Batting AVG: .301 (1st)
    Homeruns: 135 (27th)
    Walks: 612 (9th)
    Stolen Bases: 173 (10th)
    Runs Scored: 965 (5th)

    Pitching ERA: 4.57 (12th)
    Opponents AVG: .246 (2nd)
    HRs Allowed: 136 (7th)
    Walks Allowed: 508 (7th)
    Runs Allowed: 790 (11th)
