873k signing bonus for a 1st round turd? Epic.

Wellm the highlight of that sim has to be interleague play. In 6 games against Tampa and Boston, I racked up 71 runs to go 5-1. 29 came in one game. Galaviz and Zavala are re-evaluating their lives after that one.

That's what happens when you have 2 starters. I need to send in lineups.

Your pick wasn't bad at all considering the draft. With a contact bump, considering a good eye, speed and D.... he could be a pretty useful 4th OF.

Obviously not ideal for a 1st round guy, but better than a lot of the auto picks around your's.

I was mocking the bonus, cause that's hilarious.

I get that. My post was more in reference to the "turd" element.

My draft pick was a turd, but from hereonout, I should again be in good drafting position.

    Re: 2028 S3SL Random Ramblings

Second best record in baseball, best in the AL, 7 game lead in the West...I think it's safe to say this is the best Texas team I've ever had. By far.

    Batting AVG: .280 (10th)
    Homeruns: 113 (6th)
    Walks: 364 (2nd)

    Stolen Bases: 7 (30th)
    Runs Scored: 516 (3rd)

    Pitching ERA: 4.63 (8th)
    Opponents AVG: .260 (12th)
    HRs Allowed: 68 (4th)
    Walks Allowed: 295 (18th)
    Runs Allowed: 399 (8th)

Despite a grand total of SEVEN stolen bases through 81 games 2nd in walks, 30th in steals...apparently I hired Billy Beane.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

I'm not saying it is...but worst comes to worst, I'm still 9 games up on the next team in the wild card race.

    Walks Allowed: 285 (14th)

Somehow this partially dismantled team of misfit offensive players around Bermejo and Haman, and a patchwork pitching staff, is still in 1st in the AL East.. befuddles me... I've had vastly superior talent in the past that did not do this good

Big problem is I somehow put Telles in the pen and the Rotation... I gotta fix that

My offense wishes it had a better pitching staff behind it.

You can have Alex Galaviz. Just don't look at his stats this year.

Wait, he's out for 5 weeks.

Speaking of, ****, forgot to send in lineups, so I basically ruined my pitching staff.

Hopefully Lachance retires after this season, there won't be much left if he doesn't and that'll be sad to see.

    I need another bat somewhere.
