Not complaining, but that's how it is. I've learned at this point, spending a ton of money on shitty FAs that sneak through and aren't signed to extensions is a bad idea 99% of the time and doesn't work in the longrun. Sure, you'll make the playoffs maybe one of the 3 years so-and-so is signed for 10 mil over that period, but the other 2 you'll probably be in 3rd place while so and so is making that 10 mil and getting older. You're better off hoping your picks don't die, and building young. Atleast I have a high pick again... and if this draft class is as good as it supposedly is, maybe I'll get something real nice.

I'm guilty of spending and trying to win that way in that league... and it's not plausible at times.
