    2011 Houston Astros roster

My roster is about the same as last year but a few changes will occur this year.

Catcher: Ryan Garko(3.0 stars) and Javi Herrera(2.5 stars)
First Base: Michael Johnson(2.5 stars) and Colin Baisden(2.0 stars)
    Second Base: Jerry Hairston(2.5 stars)
    Third Base: Ronald Guidi(3.0 stars)
Shortstop: Cesar Izturis(2.5 stars) and Jerry Gil(2.5 stars)
    Leftfield: Torii Hunter(1.0 stars)
    Centerfield: Juan Pierre(1.0 stars)
    Rightfield: Brandon Watson(2.5 stars)
Utility: Damian Rolls(2.0 stars) and Brian Roberts(2.0 stars)

    Starters:
    Adam Wainwright(4.0 stars)
Wes Obermueller(4.0 stars) - Giving him a second chance.
    Kris Benson(2.0 stars)
    Paul Adkinson(2.0 stars)
Kris Keller(3.0 stars) - I'm turning him from a reliever to a starter this year.

    Relievers:
    Jose Vega(4.0 stars)
    Kirk Saarloos(2.5 stars)
Tyler Walker(2.0 stars) - Was a starter last year but transforming him to a reliever..again.
    Gerrit Simpson(3.0 stars)
    Ricky Stone(4.0 stars)
    R.A. Dickey-Closer(3.0 stars)
    __

I had terrific pitching last year(ranked in the middle of the pack in almost every category) but hitting wise..well, what can I say, it was horrific. I can almost guarantee you that I'll have good pitching this year(my pitching staff stayed healthy all of last year, hope so this year) and if one or two of my hitters can knock in some runs, that'll help emencely.

Any comments or projections? Knock yourself out.

    Mmmmmmmm.

Izturis and Pierre give you a .312 and a .313 OBP from the leadoff spot.

If thats not quality then I don't know what is.

Yeah, Izturis and Pierre has been switching batting spots throughout last year. I need to stay consistent.

Very nice OF. The best in the NL.

I know what you're thinking, but look on the bright side, Torii Hunter's contract ends after this year! Whoo!
