Hawthorne has an OPS under .400 ....that got an outloud wow from me. I probably should consider finding another option. Quijada is in his grave already and McMaster isn't McReady. Fair to say I should have calculated my depth better.

Anywho, just to make things prettier for the trade block, ...anyone want a leadoff man posting a dinky .430 OBP?...

Have to be pleased... none of my big guys are hitting, and I'm a game over .500. Aside from Glenn, Johnson and Losada, no one is playing up to their level. Fortuna will play better. Marceau will play better, and the wins will start piling up.

On the positive side, the rotation, except for Rayborn has been great, and everyone who matters in the bullpen has been superb.

I don't even want to think of needing bats right now... I finally got the pitching together, with the same offense that was a monster last season, and the bats have all gone dead... hopefully they start hitting soon...

How the HELL do I keep winning??? I am not putting a great team on the field... and they keep winning.... my young 1B man drops his contact talent and starts to lose his contact rating, and we still win.... my only veteran starter starts his decline, and we still win.... most of my players are underdeveloped, and we still win....

Pitching's improved but thats not helped when 2 pitchers account for 42% of your losses are attributed to 2 guys. Both of whom disappoint me mightly because they were such staples for so long. Still need a top of the rotation type guy to come in and be sort of like Fischer was to my earlier teams. *starts to pray for anything better than what Ive got already*

Rickie Weeks continues to lap the field in career triples and he must be sharing that secret with Milo Kotter, who has 5 triples already and needs only 3 more til he matches his career high.

Nice, my best young players are still gaining talent. Dominguez is now the prototypical 1B i need. DIckey and Osuna also got better. Not keeping pace though, Probably going to bump up Ebhart and knock osuna down a slot or two so his production goes back up.
