If I were you, I would worry about more than just my team.

But it's ok to be jealous, I've conquered you in two leagues. It's only natural.

Nah... get with the times... gotta go Popeye's chicken.... you can't sacrifice those tiny pieces served at the restaurant that around here we not-so-affectionately call 'Kentucky Fried Pidgeon'

I finally had a good first sim. Pretty nice, even though half the rotation sucked out loud.

I think my team is in good shape... I'm not really worried about anyone. I think its time some of my division rivals start worrying about me.

    Stolen Bases:
    19 (20th)
    Runs Scored: 173 (4th)

    23 (T-9th)
    Walks Allowed: 85 (T-7th)
    Runs Allowed: 106 (T-3rd)

Only one game back... keeping a nice pace.

Two leading hitters are Reds(Todd and Marceau). Three of the top 10 OBP men are Reds(Todd, Fortuna, Marceau). The bench has held up nicely, despite being a weakness in my mind. This makeshift bullpen is also holding up well.

    5-9 sim,

    Batting AVG: .274 (15th)
    Homeruns: 27 (16th)
    Walks: 82 (T-23rd)
    Stolen Bases: 26 (13th)
    Runs Scored: 164 (6th)

    Pitching ERA: 5.22 (22nd)
    Opponents AVG: .284 (18th)
    HRs Allowed: 39 (T-27th)
    Walks Allowed: 103 (26th)
    Runs Allowed: 176 (27th)

The simple fact that Andy Marte is hitting at a .854 OPS clip at age 37 is amazing. But add the fact that hes playing insane 2B defense is another thing. Jake Taylor has 18 RBIs. Barco is on pace for 73 doubles lol.

I didn't even know he was simming today.

A 10-4 sim for Washington, and for the first time since who-knows-when, the Nats are on top in the NL East with a 1.5 game lead. Estanis Barreras overall gap is up to 8 and overall power up to 10.

    Batting AVG: .292 (7th)
    Homeruns: 36 (3rd)
    Walks: 133 (1st)
    Stolen Bases: 23 (T-16th)
    Runs Scored: 191 (2nd)

    Pitching ERA: 3.28 (2nd)
    Opponents AVG: .247 (8th)
    HRs Allowed: 16 (5th)
    Walks Allowed: 63 (2nd)
    Runs Allowed: 102 (2nd)

I'm not used to having such good offense. It's usually great pitching with a mediocre offense.

    Homeruns: 31 (9th)

    Runs Scored: 183 (3rd)

    Pitching ERA: 4.39 (10th)

    Walks Allowed: 84 (6th)
    Runs Allowed: 124 (8th)

17-10, 1st Place in the AL Central, 3.0 games ahead of Chicago (A) and 3.5 ahead of Minnesota.

Won 7 in a row... Fede Carrion is breaking out, and Greg Hannum is slumping. Once he gets firing, watch out. The pitching is OK, with Barragan and Bareche needing improvement especially, but Roger Montiel is coming into his own finally.

This team is 12-3 on the road, compared to 5-7 at home... odd.

I like how the lineup is really taking shape for me, from top to bottom. Eagerly anticipate the next few sims, will be fun to see how it all shakes out.

Yay being one under .500! Serious accomplishment If I do say so. It only took like a dozen 5.0P to do so. Too Bad I am still looking WAY up and Mission and Molina....

i cant say im shocked... i cant say im unhappy either. this was the year to die off, if there was any year with all the expiring contracts and what not. either way i dont expect mccullough's era to remain at 7.31 for too much longer, so i do expect to turn it around.
