    2011 S3SL: Random League Ramblings

It's hard to believe we are at 2011. I really never expected this league to last that long nor for a core group of GM's to remain as long as you all have.

Anyway, it's been a lot of fun and hopefully we can keep going strong.

Last year the AL had 5 dominant teams and a bunch of red headed step children, hopefully I can be among the group that tries to crack the top.

Congrats to me, one of the few who have been around since the very first day. And my team has gotten progressively worse over that time... that's what happens when you join a league not knowing what to do, and not figuring it out until... well, I still probably haven't.

Shikitarou Natsuo seems to have improved his pure stuff!
Shikitarou Natsuo's pitches have more bite now, the movement has improved!
Shikitarou Natsuo is hitting his spots better, his command improved!

More pitching prospects pal. Shikky, Gonzalo and Chuck are about ready to be called up... almost there, not quite... along with Bill, Sam and Francisco already up.

28 mil payroll, with 110 being my limit... so after I recoup myself a Mercedes, maybe I'll jump into free agency. The highest payed player is a 5 mil reliever, but thats Ok, he's gonna after the season.

Me too... My talent is getting older... once the core gets into their mid 30's, that will be their last shot.... I've had a LONG run of great seasons, but only 1 championship

I've been here since day one and its been a blast. Can't wait to have another "successful" season.

My total +/- is at 45 mil whereas I have no money left to spend on FA.

I'm another GM who's been here since the beginning. We had our worst year last season. I'm just gonna keep the payroll low and go young this season. We'll see what happens. Finishing .500 will be a big accomplishment.

Ive been here a year and this year stunk by my standards, granted I understood that when i took the job at the end of the year last year. I do not like losing and with the number of runs I was scoring there was no reason for any of that happening. Time to look toward FA I am going to have to take a more proactive approach since Kotter seems to be the only prospect I have that just about anyone wants to talk about.

This will be my 1st full season as the owner of the DBacks and im going to go thru some growing pains this season. Then again i took some lumps in the SBSL and turned it around in my 2nd full season. The Difference is i dont have the spects i had then, like i had in Vancouver.

i believe this is my 3rd season, but only 2nd off-season coming up. Its been a lot harder than i thought to adjust to the rating system. I had the 1-100 scale so burned into my head, this version, combined with a roster set where the ratings are higher league wide than any of the ones i've used, it apparently takes some time. Hopefully i can adjust and get my team in the playoffs within a couple seasons.

this is my 7th season, 6th fulll season, i only had 2 winning records and that was in the last 2 seasons, and I had to trade away all of my good prospects for that, now i got no one good in the system.

at least i have 30 million for Free Agent

yep i shall put all your prospects to good use. I think I have about 12 guys from all the trades last year (mostly pitchers) and one is already with the big club (Akridge).
