Just imagine Conor Jackson's RBI total if my 1 and 2 hitters hit better than .136 and .179. I've got starters hitting .081, .133, .136, .162, and .179. Good thing the rest of the guys are tearing the cover off the ball. And outside of my f'in closer, no one in the rotation or bullpen has an ERA higher than 3.55.

    Batting AVG: .201 (30th)
    Homeruns: 14 (T-7th)
    Walks: 31 (T-11th)
    Stolen Bases: 5 (23rd)
    Runs Scored: 37 (24th)

    Pitching ERA: 2.54 (1st)
    Opponents AVG: .243 (9th)
    HRs Allowed: 6 (T-5th)
    Walks Allowed: 22 (T-4th)
    Runs Allowed: 28 (1st)

Good pitching, below average hitting. I'm content.

Santor getting knocked out for 6 weeks hurts, but its not going to be devastating to my team. Stewart needs to pick it up.

I'm still in 4th, when are you going to sim.

Naturally... my worst pitcher started out with the only two good starts of the season... while my other 4 got bombed. Kazmir is horrid, he's off my team. The Enforcer had 2 nice starts in Triple A... so we're gonna get him up at the moment, and see what happens. I wanted to get Gonzalo up before him, and I don't mind Gonzalo's rating, but Gonzalo got hurt and only got one start in, and a mediocre start at that.

The younger Mariners have gotten off to a good start at 6-3.

I was hoping that Gaby would get a start, but it's hard to complain when the rest of the starters are doing so well in their first couple of starts.

I'll take this first sim, although there are a few potential trouble spots I'm ready to address at the first signs of collapse. I like the overall numbers though:

    Batting AVG: .297 (6th)
    Homeruns: 7 (T-24th)
    Walks: 37 (7th)
    Stolen Bases: 11 (T-7th)
    Runs Scored: 58 (T-4th)

    Pitching ERA: 3.62 (7th)
    Opponents AVG: .225 (4th)
    HRs Allowed: 11 (18th)
    Walks Allowed: 26 (T-12th)
    Runs Allowed: 37 (6th)

The offense needs to start hitting more HR and the pitching needs to stop serving so many up.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.
