S3SL Devil Rays 2b poll

Which one should play 2b: Held or Delisle? Held has 2b experience but is a cinch for 30 errors. Delisle has speed to cover more ground than Held but Delisle is a worse fielding 3b than Held. The other thing is that I'd have to play one of them at 1b.

i don't think having Held at 3B or 2B isn't going to matter much in the end, question is, does your lineup look better/stronger with Held at 2B and Delisle at 3B? If the answer is yes, then I say go with it.

I'm having Bryan Bass play 3b because of his 9 range.

Hmm. A bad 2B man or a guy who doesn't even know how to play 2B. I would stick with the Held at 2B just because he knows the position. No matter which way you go, you don't seem to have any good options for defense at 2B.

if youre worried about defense... call up noe strauser to play 2nd.

if youre not... let held play 2nd, and call up domino to play 1st, and make porter the dh when he comes back. that leaves hanley ramirez without a spot, but... meh, thems the breaks.

Domino is stuck at 6 contact, and as I've witnessed with Casey Kotchman, it's no use relying on that outside of the 8 or 9 hole.

Might as well **** defense and just go with your 9 best hitters if you want to have any shot at the Empire's staff.
